 Q:    How do I know what my minimum calorie alotment is? I ate over 1,000 calories one day and still got a below minimum warning.

Sorry for the late response. We get a ton of emails a day. We just look over your entries and you're doing great. The minimum calories set, for each person, is done by age, weight and gender. For you it's going to be around 1300 calories. You seem to have a good grip on what you're doing with the site. Keep up the great work.
 
 
 Q:    I had a baby April 24 2005. I use to weigh 150 now I weigh 175. How do I lose the weight on my hips, butt, and stomick.... Please HELP ME I am in a really bad deperison stage... Thank you

The only way to lose the weight is to eat less and exercise more. In other words, burn more calories than you eat...every day! We know this sounds like a duanting task, but if you stay consistant you will see results. Use the site to learn how to eat the foods you like inside the formula that allows you to reach your goal.  Q:    How long should I wait after eating to excercise and how long after excercising should I wait to eat?

 A:    Give your body two hours before exercising after a meal and eat within an hour of after you exercise. This allows your body to absorb the energy need for exercise (before)and resupply the body with energy lost (after).  
 
 Q:    How do I track my water intake? I drink plenty of water and don't log it (because I don't know how). Please advise. Thanks

 A:    You track your water intake the same way you enter and track what you eat. Enter "water" in the "find a food" box, choose an entry and the amount will appear at the bottom of your meals page in the form of a water bar.  
 
 Q:    HI, I GET UP AT 4AM TO EXERCISE, I DO 30 MINUTES IN THE TREADMILL WALKING AT 3.1 MILES PER HOUR,30 MINUTES WEIGHT TRAINING AND 100 SIT UPS AND CONSUME 1200 CALORIES PER DAY AND I DON'T SEE ANY WEIGHT LOSS, OR WEIGHT GAIN.MY WEIGHT HAS BEEN THE SAME FOR 2 WEEKS NOW. I NEED TO LOOSE 74 POUNDS I GAIN AFTER MY PREGNANCY I AM 4"11 AND WEIGHT 199. POUNDS. CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT I'M DOING WRONG AND WHY I'M NOT LOOSING THE WEIGHT AND WHAT CAN I DO TO SPEED MY METABOLISM. It sounds like you're doing everything right. Give it time. You've cut back your calories drastically and increased your exercise, which is a shock to your body. Our body has a natural defense mechanism, to save you from starving, and that is to slow itself down and wait for you to binge. You have to be diligent at this point. We know it's hard, but your bodies number one function is to survive. When you stick with what you're doing, eventually your body will have to respond by using your stored energy (fat) to supply you with the energy you need for the day. Keep up the good work.
