 Q:    What type of weight training is best for fat burn and muscle toning?

 A:    Fat burning is best achieved with consistant cardiovascular training. Toning is done in the weight room with resistant training (weight lifting)  
 
 Q:    i eat right and i exercise everyday...i walk 4 miles a day..go to curves and i just gain weight and i am not loosing inches...if i would loose inches i would not care so much but this is not happening..could you tell me what is my problem

A person can exercise until they are blue in the face and if they're not burning more calories than they are eating they will never lose weight.  Q:    I have been on weight watchers for about 12 weeks and have lost 30lbs but I am getting discouraged. I am very faithful with exercise. In fact I work out on the crosstrainer for 90 mins and burn between 1600 to 1800 calories a day 5 days a week. I am loosing the weight just as fast as people who are not excersizing and not faithful on the diet. Why? It does not make sense to me. I am burning way more calories than I consume. I am confused and discouraged, any answers?

 A:    First of all, 30 pounds is a huge accomplishment! Focus on your success and be very proud of how far you've come so far. Second, you are creating true health. Your best insurance policy for the rest of your life is the aerobic training. Plus you're increasing your metabolism that will continue long after your your weight loss is complete. Finally, everyone is different. Stick with what is working for you. Consistancy is the key. In the end, you will have lost the weight, have a formula for keeping it off, be very cardiovascularly healthy and will look way better than those who just lost weight without execise. Keep up the great work.
