| Q: |

I was wondering if you can suggest a diet for a 22 year old college student, whose looking to lost about 15-20lbs in 4 months. I use an elliptical machine 2-3 times/week for 1 hour. On that machine it says I burn about 850 calories in 50 mins or so. I currently weigh 200 lbs and I'm 5'10. Is there more I should be doing to reach my target weight? Thanks a bunch!! |

Jeff,
You can exercise until your blue in the face and if you're still eating more calories than you're burning you will not lose a pound. You don't have enough time in your day to make up for bad eating habits. Learn how your body works. You have to burn at least 500 more calories than you eat daily to lose one pound a week. Use fatburn.com to easily track all this information. |

Brenda,
The greatest gift you can give your daughter is an education. Teach her how her body works! If she is going to lose weight, she needs to burn at least 500 more calories than she eats daily. If she does this she will lose one pound a week. Sign her up for fatburn.com and teach her how to track all of this. Make it fun and she will learn lessons she will have for the rest of her life. |

If it's not a medical problem than it's simple. You are consuming to much of the good food you eat. Weight loss is very simple, if you eat fewer calories than you burn you will lose weight. The laws of physics demand it! Use fatburn.com to track what you eat, what you burn and we will show your net burn daily. If you burn 500 more calories than you eat daily, you will lose one pound a week. Those are the facts. Now, what are you going to do? |

You weigh less in the morning because of food an liguid in and out. You can have as much as a five pound swing each day because of the weight of what you eat and drink. |
