That's pretty close. Fatburn.com has over 30,000 foods in our database(the largest in the world). You enter into the meals page what you eat daily and the system will give a caloric and dietary breakdown and totals. Next you enter you weight, stress levels and exercise into the activities page and the system will give you a breakdown and total caloric burn. Finally you look at the summary page. On this page we net the calories in verses the calories out and you find out if you met you weight loss goal or not for the day. Every night you will know if you lost weight.
Your real success will come from the fact that you are learning to eat the foods you like to eat in the portions that allow you to be at the weight you desire. |

The standard, until recently, was 2000 milligrams of sodium a day. The latest studies show that those levels should be dropped to 1500 milligrams for those 19 - 50 years old, 1300 for the age group of 51 - 70 and 1200 for the over 70 crowd.
The study also states that the upper limit of sodium intake should never breach 2300 milligrams. These levels are key to reducing the risk of high blood pressure or once you have it controling hypertension.
As far as sodium's impact on weight loss, this is much merkier. It is a fact that high levels of sodium in your system makes you retain water. But, this is not body fat and the body will shed those extra water weight pounds when levels come back to normal.
The goal of weight loss is to become healthier. Your best bet is to keep you sodium levels in check. This will help your body function normally, you'll feel better and you will always get a true weight when you step on the scale. |

If you're having touble with your knees it's best to consult your doctor to see what is causing your pain.
There are multiple pieces of equipment in your gym to choose from that will give you a great aerobic workout. Try them all and figure out which one gets you through your workout without pain. As long as you feel pain you are continuing the cycle. When it comes to joint pain, disregard the old gym saying "no pain, no gain".
We have not seen any studies that proclaim the treadmill to be harder on the knees than running outside. On the contrary, the treadmill gives you a soft, even surface to run or walk on that is designed to protect you from injury. |
