 Q:    I am 19 years old and I am off and on bulemic. I have been struggling with weight problems for awhile now. I was wondering if there is any diet pill that really works.  A:    Hi Shavonne,

First, bulimia is a real disorder and should be addressed by a trained professional. Please talk to your parents, counselor or good friend and find help. The sooner you do this the better.

Second, there are no diet pills that work. Can they help you lose weight? Maybe, but you are almost sure to put the weight right back on. Diet pills work by introducing stimulants to your system making everything run faster, thus making you burn more calories during the day. Sounds good right? Wrong. These stimulants can be very dangerous and in the end when you stop taking them (you can't keep it up the rest of your life) your body slows back down and the weight comes back on.

The only way to lose weight is to eat fewer calories than you burn. That's what the lateral thigh trainer will help with. We're not sure what the machine is but if it gets you to exercise than go for it. Just keep in mind that there is no such thing as spot training. In other words you can do sit-ups all day long and you will never see a six pack unless you burn more calories than you eat to lose the fat.

Please talk with a professional about your bulimia. Your health is the most important asset you possess.
 
 
 Q:    does exercise increase the weight of the bones?

 A:    Yes, resistance training (exercising with weights) increases the density of the bones.  
 
 Q:    i was about two months prego and three days ago had a mis-carry. i need to feel better about myself,to get my mind off the situation. so i would like to get my body back. i have yes back fat\thigh fat what are the best ways to lose it?

 A:    We're sorry to hear you lost your baby...

The best way to lose and excess fat is to increase your exercise (start easy with walking) and decrease the amount of food you eat.  Q:    I am new at this. When entering my food for the day II have often looked up to see I have entered the wrong food and I can find no way to delete that item. I feel for sure there is a way to delete something but I can't figure it out.

 A:    We don't advocate people losing more than a pound or two per week.

Trying to lose a lot of weight over a long period of time can have safty issues.

Remember that you are trying to develop habits that will last a lifetime. So don't worry about it taking a few more weeks. You'll be happier with your results longer if you pick up the correct habits.
