 Q:    Hi I would like to know how much aerobic exercise I can do a day without loosing muscle mass as I would like to start body building ( as soon as I loose my gut) I'm a male 5'8" 215 pounds.

 A:    You will not lose muscle mass by doing aerobic exercise; you will only lose fat. Read the Health & Nutrition article, "The fastest way to burn calories while exercising" for more info.
 
 
 Q:    I need to know the caloric value of fat, fiber, carbs and protein per gram.? thank you tori

 A:    fat = 9 calories per gram
carbs = 4 calories per gram
protein = 4 calories per gram
fiber = 0 calories per gram
 
 
 Q:    I want to lose 70 pounds but don't want to have excess skin and for it to be droopy. So, after losing how many pounds does your skin start just being excess skin?

 A:    There are many factors, including age and genetics that lead to sagging skin after weight loss. However, if you lose weight safely, at a rate of 1-2 pounds a week, your skin should bounce back. If you were to lose a large amount of weight very quickly (which we do NOT recommend) or you are older, you may experience some loose skin. We suggest you contact your doctor before embarking on your weight loss program.  
 
 Q:    Is it more dificult to lose weight when you are taking antidepresants (wellbutrin & effexor)?

 A:    Since we are not medical professionals, we suggest you contact your doctor or pharmacist for a list of side effects.  
 
 Q:    I workout after work around dinner time. My question is if it is better to eat dinner before you work out and to wait an hour or to work out then eat dinner after? What is the best way to go?

 A:    It doesn't matter WHEN you eat. What does matter is the number of calories you consume/burn each day. Listen to your body and do what is best for you.
