 Q:    I am 30 years old. I've had a c-section and my left ovary removed. (All about 3 years ago) I was cut both times from side to side in the same area. I carry most of my weight in the stomach area. Is it possible that I can have a flat stomach again?

 A:    Calories are calories; if you consume 3500 more calories than you burn of ANYTHING, you will gain one pound. It doesn't matter if they come from cheesecake or carrots. Of course, eating foods low in fat and calories is recommended for good health.  
 
 Q:    I am 16 years old. I dance three or four times a week on a dance team, and I want to try to lose about 10-15 pounds. I don't know how to figure out how many calories I burn dancing, so I don't know how to start losing weight. Can you help me?

 A:    Dancing is a great form of exercise and since it's fun too, you are more likely to stick with it.  Q:    Is it a better workout if you jog/walk on incline?

 A:    They both have there good and bad. Jogging is a great cardiovascular workout and burns calories at a very high rat. But, it has more impact to your body than walking.

Walking on an incline is also a great form of cardiovascular train and has very little impact to the body. But it will burn fewer calories in the same amount of time as jogging.

We suggest you do the one that is most comfortable for you. This way you will be more likely to stick with it.

Or mix it up so you have some variety.
 
 
 Q:    how can i run faster and longer

 A:    Increase your strength for running faster. This would include a well designed strength training program that would require at least for days of heavy lifting in the gym for at least one hour.

For running longer you increase your aerobic capacity. This would include cardiovascular training almost daily where you work all the systems to increase their capacity.

Consult a good trainer for more specifics.
