If you are referring to job stress, the answer is yes. When you sign up to fatburn.com you will enter many factors (age, current weight, gender, activity level and stress level) to determine how many calories YOU burn every day just by living. fatburn.com has settings for no stress, light, medium and heavy stress. However, we recommend you exercise to burn calories---it’s more effective than stressing out, without the side effects! |

Your height and weight are within the normal range for a female. If you are one of the rare few who wants to gain weight, simply consume more calories than you burn. In order to gain one pound a week, you need to consume 3500 calories MORE than you burn. |

Hi! I am 16 years old and am overweight. I just lost 30 pounds and am looking for more ways to loose weight. My role model is Beyonce Knoels and I was wondering if you knew specificaly what she does to stay in shape or how she works out. Thank you so much for your time. |

We think comparing yourself to Beyonce is very unrealistic. It's her job to look that way and she probably spends thousands of dollars on personal trainers and nutritionists not to mention the hours of dancing she does everyday to stay in top condition. Trying to look like a super model or pop diva is almost impossible. Most of them don't even look as good as their pictures thanks to good lighting and airbrushing. The important thing is to look and feel great about being YOU!
Since you are under 18 and still growing, we recommend you check with your doctor AND your parents before starting any weight loss or exercise program.

I am 5'4 1/4 and I weigh 120 lbs...I consider myself thick how can I lose 20 lbs in reasonable time w/ out starving myself ? |

First of all, 20 pounds is a bit of an overestimation and will put you in the "underweight" category. We recommend you lose no more than 12 pounds, which will lower your BMI to 18.5. Weight loss of 1-2 pounds per week is a realistic goal so for you, 6-12 weeks. When you lose weight at that rate and use fatburn.com to change your eating habits and learn how your body works, you will keep it off. Remember, you need to burn 3500 calories to lose one pound. So if you want to lose one pound a week, you need to burn 500 calories a day MORE than you consume. Fatburn.com can help you do that. |
