I recently started using Leptoprin. I have a physical ailment that impedes my exercising as vigorously as needed for weight-loss. I am 37 years old, 67 inches tall and 178 pounds. How much should I weight for my height? Is Leptoprin a safe weight-loss supplement? |

I have weighed about the same (125 lbs) about the last 20yrs. I am 42 and I have gained about 5lbs, but my body has changed and I look like I,ve gained a lot more. I have never weighed less than 120lbs, I have tried exercise, the last couple of years and I never lose more than 1-2lbs . I would love to lose 10-12 lbs but I feel like my body just wont go there. Where do I begin. I am a moderately active (running and walking every other day) I dont like gyms. |

This is a common concern and we understand your frustration. The truth is, the secret to losing weight (and looking great) is to eat less and exercise more. If you burn 500 calories per day MORE than you consume, you’ll lose 1 pound a week. Please click on the Health & Nutrition Tab and read the articles entitled "How the fatburn.com program works" and "3 Step Process to Losing Weight" for more information. fatburn.com can help. You will learn how many calories you burn (through lifestyle and exercise) and consume everyday and learn how to change your habits and lose weight for good. You certainly don't need to go to a gym to exercise--walking, running and other outdoor sports are a great way to exercise and have fun doing it.

I am a 23/female and I work out about 5-6 days. I include 3 days of weightlifting and 3 days of 45-60mins of cardio. My diet consist of very low carbs/fat. I also take L-carnitine and drink Designer Whey Protein after every workout. I do see some type of change but I would like to know do you think that is a good mixture of food/supplements? I would like to join fatburn.com.
Thank you. |

I have tried one of the more popular low-carb (not "no-carb") hi protein, high fat diets and it worked well for me as long as I stayed with it and even heard on the news that a healthier version of low- carb hi protein diet is being researched by a doctor. My body definitely tends to store lots more fat with hi to moderate carb (complex carbs), low fat, low protein diets which makes it harder for me to lose weight and I am almost always hungry on these diets, but I know they are supposed to be healthier. I don't know what I should do. Should I stick with a higher protein moderate carb and fat diet if it is easier to lose fat and I am not as hungry all the time? What risks are there if I choose a "healthy" hi protein diet? |

I was wondring if there was any way that I could add meals to my meal chart. On days I lift I eat more than 5 times a day so I have to condense my Pre/Post workout meals into the breakfast catagory. I would like the ability to add meals and maybe even enter the time I eat them. |

Thank you for the suggestion. We have added a "notes" section to the Activities page so you can note meal times as well as other pertinent info. |
