| Q: |

I was wondering if there was a way I could export all the data I add on your site to a file that I could import into a spreadsheet or a database. Like a comma delimited file. |

No. However you can copy the information and paste to a Word doc. |

I am currently nursing. I've read that you burn approximately 500 calories a day by nursing. How do you enter that into activities.
Is there a way to add miscellaneous foods and activities, if you know the nutritional info but it isn't a selection? |

fatburn.com recommends you consult with your doctor to ensure that the program you embark upon is healthy for you and your baby. While nursing, you should eat at least 1500 calories per day. Without knowing all your personal information, we cannot give a precise answer but on average, nursing burns an additional 300-500 calories a day --depending on height, weight, age, etc. We suggest you up your "Work Day" Activity level to compensate for the additional calories you burn. For example, if you weigh 140 pounds and normally have a Sedentary Day with Light Stress and you increase the Activity level to Medium or Heavy; the system will show an increase of 272-363 calories. If you increase the Stress level, you will also see an increase in the number of calories burned. We hope this is helpful and please, check with your doctor. |

You should be eating a MINIMUM of 1000 a day to maintain a healthy metabolism You can do serious damage if you starve yourself. Ultimately you will make it MORE difficult to lose the weight...and keep it off.
Please see the Health & Nutrition article on why fasting is NOT a good idea.
p.s. Walking is great exercise...just make sure you eat enough so you remain healthy! |

A: Spot weight reduction is a myth! You lose weight all over your body at the same time. In other words, it matters not one bit how many sit-ups, crunches or other types of spot training exercises you do. The only way to lose weight in ANY area is to burn more calories than you eat. You need to burn 500 calories per day MORE than you consume to lose one pound of fat per week. Click the Health & Nutrition" tab and read the article, "How do I get a six-pack?" for more information. Join fatburn.com today to learn how many calories you need to burn to lose those extra pounds. |

The cal's burned on the machines at the gym are very different from the cal's burned for the same activity done for the same amount of time on your site. Why is that and which is the most accurate one to use? |
|
| Asked By jennifer |
| A: |
|
fatburn.com is more accurate because it takes into account your age, weight, height and gender while the machines at the gym only factor in weight and age. |
